Nature Collector
Lets individuals collect and report data from the nature.

Nature Collector is a prototype app that enables individuals to act as data collectors in their local environment. They can continuously report the condition of nature to the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency by collecting data such as water samples and plants.
Overview
Background
This project started with a design sprint performed in group over a week where we explored a design brief trough various methods. The group was assigned a fictional design brief stating that the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency wants to use individuals as data collectors. After the design sprint the project continued individually and aimed to develop a prototype that can be used by the individuals to continuously report the condition of nature.

Process
Design sprint
Map
We explored the design brief with the W4 method to explore and target a problem during a future workshop.
Storyboard
To further understand the context of the problem we wrote a user scenario and drew a storyboard.

Sketch
We used the design studio method for individual and group sketching.

User flow
To identify the interactions we created an user flow for the digital and the physical prototype.

Wireframes
Balsamiq were used to draw wireframes.

Test
We facilitated user testing and analyzed the feedback with an impact matrix.

Prototype
After the design sprint week the project continued individually and I started to prototype in Axure.
Color scheme
The color scheme was chosen based on the colors used on the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency's website.

Test
I facilitated user testing where I prepared one task each for:

Visual refinement
-
Interactivity
-
Breadth

Data
I analyzed the test results and feedback with an impact matrix and continued to iterate on the prototype. Se the final UI under Result.
